Aspendale
Published 1 year ago in Where I Live.We have lived here in Aspendale for 7 years, and we love it. It is a small village just across the Mordialloc Creek. Many people have it confused with Aspendale Gardens, but it would take us 10-15 minutes to drive from Aspendale to Aspendale Gardens. Aspendale is a bayside suburb. We have a lovely little shopping centre, that serves the local community well. Across the railway line and Nepean Highway, is the fabulous Aspendale Beach. A walk down to the beach whether in the morning or in the evening, and you will feel like you are a million miles from the city. It is a beautiful clean beach, and is never ever crowded. I just love it.

I lived in edithvale for a while, which is just after aspendale. Both lovely places.
I used to live in Aspendale (among many other bayside suburbs) and I agree with you
hi muggle - another former aspendale resident here who agrees with you whole heardtedly
Aspendale is truly a well kept secret then is it?! Don’t speak too highly about it otherwise the rich and famous will move it and the kids won’t be able to afford living within cooee of you….
Absolutely delightful to know that some one is so total at peace with their lot in the world. Should be more of it….I used to live in Beaconsfield Parade, Albert Park for a couple of years and I know how refreshing it can be to walk along the sea side, and to hear the crashing waves at sunset….
